- Large nylon brew/sparge bag (BIAB)
- 2x small muslin/nylon bags (hop bags)
- 12" stem dial thermometer
- 6 gal fermenter (bucket with drilled lid or carboy)
- Bung sized for drilled lid or carboy
- Airlock
- Bottles for 5 gallons of beer (either with caps or swing-tops)
- Caps (if capping)
- Capper (if capping)
- Auto-Siphon 3/8"
- 4' of 5/16 inner diameter tubing
- Hydrometer
- Hydrometer jar
- Baster/wine thief (if using a carboy)
Special brewing materials
- Alkaline cleaner (PBW)
- Sanitizer (Star San, Saniclean)
- Nitrile/latex/"rubber" gloves

- Large cooler

- Heat-safe container with a handle (2-cup glass measuring cup, stainless French press)

- Refrigerator space for the fermenter -or- a chest freezer/spare fridge w/ temp controller
